Wallington Girls catchment and the NWSSEE
Wallington High School for Girls shares SET and NWSSEE with Nonsuch, but it has its own admissions priorities. Its 2027 policy uses a 6.7km catchment, with ranked places available irrespective of address and separate priority conditions. Do not apply Nonsuch’s distance rule to Wallington Girls.

What the radius does and does not mean

The policy includes 100 ranked places irrespective of address and up to 110 catchment places, reduced by specified priority allocations, with Pupil Premium provision. Being inside the radius does not remove the academic requirements or guarantee an offer.

NWSSEE uses English composition and maths. Both papers must be passed. The combined result uses the re-standardised SET score divided by two, plus the standardised NWSSEE English and maths scores. No raw practice conversion follows from this rule.
A parent’s checklist
- Verify the exact address rule and evidence required for your category.
- Keep the school’s result message for each school even though the exam is shared.
- Do not double the test preparation workload because you name both schools.
- Review one written composition for clarity, structure and sentence control before buying another paper.
